I was on depo birth control shot for 3 years. In this time I quickly quit having periods. The shots were effective for 3 months. My last shot was in June 2014. My husband and I have been trying since October, which is when I had my first period. Anyone else previously on the shot? I was told it may take up to a year to conceive, I'm just impatient. I am 30, I have no children, husband has 2 from previous marriage. I tried for quite a while with my ex, even went to the dr, no answers then as to why I wasn't getting pregnant... She ran dye through my tubes just to be sure.. Hopeful now, but scared!
