Depends on the dentist and what exactly they're doing. If it's just a chip the might not need to do any anesthetic - depending on how close to the nerve they'll have to get. The 2nd trimester is considered the safest for dental work. It's worth at least calling and getting an opinion. I'm a dental hygienist :)

I went to the dentist a month ago and they wouldn't see me because I didn't have a doctors note. I was embarrassed and left in tears. It was just for a cleaning. Probably 27 weeks pregnant
