Is it too late? Am I too old?

To wait another year to TTC. Im 36 and even though I don't look my age. I get 25 all the time. I know inside Im mature. How long is too long to wait. My SO is 29 and wants a baby so bad. Please don't bring up Janet Jackson she's 50! And Lmao thats a rare case and we arent millionaires we just want a little baby to fulfill our lives. But I still need another year or two. Also I want a spring baby so we have to TTC in July for a April baby👶🏻 thanks ladies 😘

The sooner the better, there's never a perfect time and you won't regret your baby once he or she arrives it will be love at first sight ☺️❤️

I had my first at 34, conceived in 5 cycles. I'm 35 now and pregnant with my second, conceived in 4 cycles. Being older doesn't necessarily mean it'll be difficult. I probably wouldn't wait years though.

I just had my 1st, got pregnant at 40, gave birth at 41. You have time. I was worried about my age and my OB said half his patients are over 35. I had an uncomplicated pregnancy. I'm now on the fence about #2.

I'm 31 my hubby is 51 and we are trying for our first together. Keep trying, but idk about worrying do much as to what month to have a baby that takes the fun out of it IMO. Good luck

I feel exactly like you, I'm 37, OH is 40. We aren't married yet and I'd like to be before having children but I'm scared to leave it too much longer, especially as I have PCOS and endometriosis! I've no idea what to do either x

I'm 36, and almost 14 weeks pregnant.  I fell pregnant quickly coming off the pill, but miscarried at 10.5 weeks (after seeing the heart rate but they suspect it was a bad reaction to flu vaccine).  I then fell pregnant with my rainbow the first cycle after the miscarriage.  My age clearly doesn't impact my ability to conceive, and things look great with this baby as much as it can at this point (all cleared on genetic tests and NT scan).
I think the odds of infertility and miscarriage increase slightly once over 35, but doesn't mean it's impossible or that the odds are against you.  I think 40+ is more of a concern genetically, but you'll still hear many women successfully conceive.  If it helps with the worry, there are quite a few fertility tests for both of you.  If no fertility issues, I'd be confident you'll conceive :-)

If it's your first sooner is better than later, but if you don't feel ready then wait...

But be prepared for the "advanced maternal age" label....I was 33 with my first and had that written all over my files.

The sooner you do is better on yours and your babies health. The ideal time to have children is in your 20s, when you have kids earlier or later there are higher chances of risk. Personally for my life I wouldn't have kids once I'm past 33-34
