This may only surprise me because I'm not American but using no pain relief for birth is the norm in my home country. What percentage would you say uses pain relief for birth in America? Maybe that would help me understand why women on here praise natural births like it's some oddity. I can't help but think "ok most women since the beginning of time have been doing the same?" every time natural births are praised as some odd accomplishment!
