C-section timing

For those of you that delivered early (or before 37-38 weeks) did you have significant signs/symptoms that babies were ready to come?  I live a long way from any family and have a 2 year old and I'm trying to figure out when to have my parents come into town.  Currently I have no signs that my girls are thinking of coming early (32-3 currently) but I'm nervous because I want the best care for my son while my husband and I are in the hospital.  I have a friend that will help but I know it would be more stressful for my son and us. TIA :)
