Bit controversial but.....I'm just curious as to how many of you smoke? I personally did at the start before I knew I was pregnant but not now. But a friend still smokes. Personal choice I know. So no nasty commemts or judging each other.

Quitting is SOOO hard for some people. Like me for instance.. sound stupid but I get very anxious. I'm slowly trying to quit so I don't cause my body any more stress. Please don't be ugly to her... my friend constantly told me I was terrible for poisoning my child and it really really upset me.. I cried for daysss. I know it can be harmful. That's why I'm doing my best to quit. And I've heard stories of  women who quit cold turkey as soon as they found out and the stress it put on their body caused miscarriages. Some people don't have issues quitting. Some do. Just be as supportive as you can helping her quit. Ultimately it's her body her baby and her decision entirely.

I did before baby and quit once I found out. I still struggle some days when my boyfriend smokes and when I'm really stressed, but I've managed to never give in. It's hard!!

I quit the day I found out I was expecting and haven't touched them since.  Which is hard bc all my family smokes and do it in front of me all the time and it kills me. My mom smoked the whole time with my little brother & I would get so mad at her but she claims it doesn't matter he was born very small tho a little over 5 lbs& he was full term.  My aunt also smoked with her son & he was born at 38 weeks . I don't know if smoking was the cause but I know it can't be good. But hey not my baby not my problem I quit bc I thought it would be best for my little girl.

I do the vapor in the lowest mg nicotine.   And not very much.  Nicotine is not good but it's not smelly or full of tar.  The docs haven't said anything and I've been honest.

I smoked for ten years prior to pregnancy and quit within my first three months. Won't touch them now.
