Can't wait to be cleared for pregnancy. I have done everything "right." Waited for the man of my dreams, cultivated a healthy loving relationship, gotten married, worked my butt off to be reasonably OK financially, and even done proactive pre conception blood work etc to get my body ready and optimal for the process.

As part of my thoroughness, I followed a hunch to work with an immunologist and test for Lyme's disease. Sure enough, I have it! A chronic severe case...

So tonight, instead of laying here awake and blissful over being pregnant, or getting it on with my hubby to conceive, I am wired from my weekly IV treatment, with whole host of uncomfortable "Herxing" symptoms due to stirring the pot and my peroxide infusion causing die off....

4 months into intense treatment, and I still don't know when I will be cleared for making babies. Need to be in remission first, both because of meds being bad foe fetus, and also because the disease itself can be passed on in utero
