43 days for raping a child?

Question

A judge has sentenced a father who repeatedly raped his 12 year old daughter to 60 jail time (including 17 he's already been locked up) plus a number of restrictions and rehabilitation schemes. The idea being that he can be rehabilitated. Do you think it's possible? Do you think he has the right to be in the community before that happens? There a some people trying to get the judge thrown out so he can't claim his pension-do you think that is fair? (See below). Is the law to blame or the judge? Are the two the same thing?

Who the hell voted fair?! Are they stupid! Any person who rapes someone child or adult deserves to have their penis cut off with a rusty spoon! Deserves to rot in jail for the rest of their lives!

This is a case that should be taken higher. If the judge is corrupt there will be an investigation.

Maybe he can be rehabilitated, maybe he can't. But I wouldn't want him wandering free in a community where he would be around more children to give him the chance to see if he's gonna act straight. Maybe not behind bars but keep him locked in the rehab facility until they can know he won't be doing that again. And of he does, he should face jail time.

This is what's wrong with the world. A 20yr old girl dealing with Complex PTSD with 3 different police departments and 2 judges BEGGING her to file charges, but she's scared because she doesn't want to go through everything for nothing. She was raped and molested by her stepdad almost everyday for 13 years up until shortly after her 16th birthday. I refuse to put my family, friends, and community through a trial, just for 60 fucking days. I hope that judge knows exactly what he just did because victims like me are everywhere and he's silenced many of us. I just can't do it anymore.
