Death Penalty

I'll start, I'm in the middle on this one, because when I read/ hear about someone committing a heinous crime, I automatically feel sympathy for both the victim(s) and the criminal(s). In that case I would say no to the penalty. Contrary to that, if I was personally affected by the crime, let's say; someone killed someone close to me, then I would be 100% for it, only because it personally affected me. So for me to say I'm 100% against it would feel like I'm disregarding the same feelings someone else that is actually in that situation.
