medela customer service

I just wanted to let everyone know about the awesome customer service I received from Medela. Earlier today my Medela pump in style was loosing suction, and during let down; there was no suction whatsoever and the motor was making a crazy noise. After an hour looking online on what this could be and to see if I could fix this myself I called their customer service number. I have to say the woman working with me was an angel. Normally when I contact customer service with companies I get very rude people, or my issue is never resolved. I honestly was nervous that I wasn't going to be able to fix the pump and because it was free through insurance I would have to pay out of pocket for a new one. She had me walk her through what was wrong, got all my info, and let me know that she would be sending me a new pump since mine is only 2 months old. As an exclusive pumper I was a little upset that I wouldn't be able to pump untill I got my new pump and I would have to break into my frozen stash and have some severe swollen boobs. I never mentioned that to her, and after a few minutes on hold, she came back and asked me if I had any other pumps at home.  When I told her I didn't, she said that she would adjust the order and overnight my new pump! I was shocked! That woman made this Mommas day! 💙
