I allow my dogs and cats, she loves her kitty and all our cats the most

I have 2 cats. My female is older and is a bitch and doesn't like anybody but me and my husband and even then it's on her terms. My younger one who's male loves you once he gets used to you if you'll pet him. He loves my daughter! Has from day one. Now that she's moving he's a bit more cautious around her cuz she can get him easier and one day she grabbed the back of his neck and pulled him across the floor about half a foot before I could grab a hold of him and tell her no to be nice. But now he licks her head and tickles her eith his whiskers and she gives him nice love (nice hugs).

Definitely. My daughter adores our chocolate lab and her two kitties (even though the cats are less tolerant) a little pet hair and a little dirt never hurt anyone!

Yes! My cat was always near my son when he was a baby just watching him like she wanted to protect him. She was sooo good to him and let him play and do anything to her.

Hell yes! I'm not sure why you would even own pets if you plan to lock them up once you have kids.

Yes but only supervised. Mine are 3 and 6 now. Pregnant with another. The cat i dont supervise around the kids, she's pretty harmless, she doesnt even have claws. The dogs i never leave unsupervised with the kids. We have a heeler mix that is very exciteable, especially during play. And if she did nip or jump on them, she can cause damage. So i avoid that possibility all together by supervising their interactions. I trust her with them, they play with her all the time. Dress her up in crowns and necklaces, sunglasses lol but at the end of the day she's still a dog and they are still children and dont know how to judge her actions or moods. My chihuahua i dont leave unsupervised with the kids because she is only 2.3 lbs and they could easily hurt her accidentally.

They will have to share their toys.

Hell yeah they loved him from day one! They are family just like our son. We even let him touch other people's animals and take him to petting zoos. My dog was introduced to my son the day we brought him home and now she sleeps where ever he is. So does the cat.
