subchorionic hemorrhage

Ok so I found out I had one when I was what I thought almost 6 weeks. I had a gush of bright red bleeding. They couldn't find the heartbeat so they checked my levels a few times that week and saw me for another US in a week. Went back found out I was actually only 6 weeks exactly. When I should had been 6 weeks 4 days. And saw the baby's heartbeat. Ok scheduled for another appt when I'm 10

Weeks which will be Nov 21. My question is how often did you get checked when you had a hemorrhage? I heard you should see a doc every two weeks. But I won't see one until almost 4 weeks. Is that normal? Or should they be monitoring the hemorrhage and pregnancy more? The doc seemed happy with seeing the heartbeat and not concerned but I don't know.
