why do people say during c sections

That they pull your insides out? I've watched videos and all they do is cut through the uterus, no intestines have been removed. Plus that doesn't make scense, your uterus is in front of the other organs ?

I literally just had a c section 1 week ago and my doctor had me pee before going in to make sure my bladder was empty before the catheter because she "wanted nothing to do with any of my organs besides my uterus." Doctors try to stay as far away from your other organs as possible so they don't nick them and they keep the infection risk as low as possible. They do not take your insides out and lay them on your chest!!

To the person who thinks her friends esophagus was taken out, there's no way in hell. That's at the complete opposite end of the torso from where they cut and take the baby out. They're never anywhere close to your esophagus.

You know what? Ever since I've gotten pregnant people have been telling me terrible stories about giving birth. I even had someone tell me to watch out because women gain so much weight after baby comes. I had someone literally pull up my shirt without asking because she wanted to see if I had stretch marks on my belly! I was like what the Fuck?!

With my first c-section I got free lypo. That was kinda nice. I wouldnt doubt if they have moved stuff to get bbay out properly and stitch me back. I have never bothered to ask in any of my 3 c-sections.

I only know with my first about the extra fat being left out because they could stitch me up better without it. My hubby say the fat sitting in a dish. Not something he wants to see again. Lol

It is common to have the intestines and bladder moved to the side in order to properly move the uterus. However, typically the uterus (as well as fallopian tubes) is the only thing that will be taken outside of the body and this is only so the surgeon can better check the incision to properly fix.

I read it is very rare that anything else be removed unless it has been damaged in the process of the procedure.

When I had my csection they asked me how I felt at one point and I said my chest hurt and they mentioned they moved my kidneys .. that's the most I've heard of and intestine moving during a csection .. people and their theory's are crazy

My BIL saw them move intestines out of the way  to get to his wife's uterus.  They used bowls. That was awhile ago though.  I guess it depends on location of everything.

Well my best friend had a c section &&I they actually took her esophagus out to get the baby , so yes it happens
