talking to ex

I've only been with my bf for a little over a month now. But he is still so close to his ex. He feels the need to update her on his life. Like last Monday he had a convo with her first about his job (I thought I was special because he only told me, but apparently not) and he didn't text me until afternoon. I've been snooping (yes, not proud) but I had to find out if what he said was true. So she knows he's seeing someone and he had cleared it up that he wants to just be friends but I don't get the clinginess to update each other ? A month before he met me she was still sending him nudes and asking him for dick pics (he didn't reciprocate) but what should I do? Or feel?
