blood pressure?

What's yours been like? I'm 33w3d and the past week it's been high. Today it reads 143/90. I'm also swelling a lot more.

Yes my doctor knows. They drew blood yesterday to test for preeclampsia. I am already on a beta blocker (25mg metoprolol).

That's a bit in the higher side have you mentioned it to your provider? This may be signs of pre-eclampsia.

Mine has been higher than that or around that. I had severe preeclampsia with my first pregnancy though. I'm on blood pressure meds and being monitored very closely for preeclampsia this time around. I'd keep an eye on that because that is pretty high and swelling can be another sign of preeclampsia, but some swelling is normal. I'd mention it to your doctor.

You're blood pressure is more likely to go up when pregnant. Mine has gone down but that doesn't mean anything good or bad. Your doctor will let you know if it's high enough for concern.
