moving across the country with a newborn

Has anyone done a major relocation with a newborn? My husband took a new job and we have moved from New Mexico to Maine. While we are happy to be back east and closer to family it has been taxing as a first time mom trying to figure it all out. Living out of bags, having to deal with our dogs adjusting to the move as well. On top of that my son has become really hard to put to sleep. Any advice from those who've done it? Tips? I'm feeling overwhelmed.
