CAT HELP??

So I found an a lost cat outdoors about 5 years ago and I let her live in my garage and go as she pleases since she doesn't want to stay indoors 24/7. I'm very close to her and she never goes far. She's always brought me dead mice and rats which I thought was wear but today she was meowing for me and I came and she dropped a dead rabbit head down for me and purred. Why does she do this?

Cats do that xD mine brought me lizards and mice and birds. It's like a present cus you feed them and take care of them and love them and that's how they show their love for you. Now I don't think this is a feeding thing. It's a loyalty thing. Cus If it was hungry, it would've ate the dead animal, not bring it to you. It's just like a little prize thing. I've had cats that I fed like crazy and they'd kill a bird and eat it for the fun of it. Or they'd kill a snake and leave it at the door step for me. That's just what they do.

We had a rescue cat named KC when I was younger, my mom and uncle watched someone throw him out a car window and drive off, he ended up having to get his leg amputated but we kept him for about 6 years (he ran off after we moved to British Columbia and he never came back) he ALWAYS brought us dead mice and birds, once a bird that wasn't dead and ended up living in our basement for a few months because we couldn't find it but it was a detached basement so it couldn't get into the rest of the house. One morning, my dad went to let KC in the house and he wouldn't come in, he kept meowing and walking away from the door so my dad went outside with him to see why he was freaking out and there was about 20 dead mice laying all over our patio and front yard, KC looked so proud of himself though lol

Well depends, if shes trying to eat it shes hungry, but ive had cats all my life and usaully its there way of saying thank you or being like "Look, look, look, I brought u a present?! Do u like?!" Or "u had an intruder but I got them" so shes projecting u n bringing u gifts

It actually means she's just really loyal to you. Lol she feels she needs to bring u gifts, even though you have no interest in dead animals
