I just have a question as a FTM how do doctors no what is going on with baby if they only give u so many ultrasounds just curious

Answer

They should be listening to the heartbeat every visit. If that is normal then baby is doing fine.  If you're healthy and have no risk factors there's no reason to believe anything is wrong with your baby. If you're not bleeding or cramping, baby is probably nice and cozy and fine in your womb. You don't need more ultrasounds than necessary if you're having a healthy pregnancy.

Normally it's the heartbeat that indicates that baby is okay! They check weight & such if they see anything wrong at gender ultrasound. If they don't then routinely they won't check you til 36 weeks! That's how my doctors work at least.
