do i have a right to mad

My bf lives 3 hours away. We see each other once a month cause of school/work. I wanted him to stay for dinner last night and we got in a fight because he wanted to go to a party. Fine i get that but he spent the whole time texting his friends about this party. Im upset because he just left and walked out instead of figuring it out with me. It would be one thing if i can see him today since we both dont have school/work but he is at a beer pong party. He knows how upset i am and what makes it worse is thats what he chose instead of fixing whats going on with us. He wants me to drive down tomorrow but honestly he was the one who left we  werent even yelling he just cant talk about our relationship without going crazy. I just am not his priority and dont know why. I will do anything for him yet he cant do the same for me. Ik i cant make him make me a priority but come on i wouldnt walk out on him, and if i did i wouldnt leave completely with no plan to fix this.
