Do you think it's true that the pill is 99% effective? Honestly, I just can't buy it. I know so many people who have gotten pregnant on the pill, even when they were taking it 100% regularly.

I think it is 99% effective, they'd be forced to change the stats considering all the women who get pregnant on it. So I believe the reason they get pregnant is because they don't take it 100% as instructed even if they say they did. Just one or two of those are that unfortunate 1%.

Actually I think on planned parenthood website it says the pill is 97 or 98% effective. The only BC that is 99% is the iud-implant-shot I believe.
