My daughters 2 weeks old and her dad just seen her Tuesday and I haven't spoken to him since he has a new girlfriend and that's seem to be the only thing on his mind he hasn't even bothered to call and see how she is and I feel like I shouldn't call him To make him involved

That's sad. So many men would love to have a child and don't.... I guess if it were me, I'd try setting up a visit with him where you can talk to him and see what he wants his level of involvement to be. That way, you know you tried no matter the outcome. If he passes then there is nothing you can do. Can't change people... best of luck!

I wouldn't even bother ringing him or saying anything to him. If he was bothered than he would of been a lot more than once to see his child! Some men are like that.. My son who is 7 has never even seen his dad, I've brought him up on my own! I was only 16 when I had him & honestly my son doesn't need anyone he's got me 😊
