Just wanted to hear some stories of people who are eloped or have eloped before! I don't plan to, but I always enjoy a good romance

We cancelled our huge wedding and got married in a friend's backyard with only our very closest family and friends and then took the 25 of us out dinner at a nice restaurant and went to Cabo the next day. We had already sent out save the dates but sent out elopement announcements the day we left instead of invitations. It was amazing and I wouldn't have it any other way!

We sort of eloped

We were doing laundry at the laundromat and i asked him when we were getting married and he said whenever you call and get prices and dates set up 2 hours later everything was set up a week later we got the license then a few days later we got married at the courthouse we only told his gma which we live with my mom and my dad before hand that we were getting married everyone else we told after
