Announcing

So, I'm trying to figure out when to announce to my close, like immediate family.... (itd getting hard not to want to tell) I have an ultrasound on the 7th and I'll be 7 weeks 5 days My Gma is coming to town Thursday, so ill be 8 weeks 1 day then... but it is my cousins baby shower and I don't wanna steal her thunder.... My Gma won't be back till thanks giving... I dont wanna do a social media announcement until after my first trimester...

Also, I'm struggling with how to tell my mom. Her and I had a discussion about a month ago and she begged me not to get pregnant again until I was married... But it was too late. Lol. Not to mention she's going through a break up with her boyfriend (😩) and she's already stressed....

I'm almost 25, my boyfriend is 28 and were stable. I have a 5 year old. We are excited. So regardless how anyone else feels we will still be over the moon. We haven't got married bc we just haven't. We've talked about it. We both want to. But I want to wait till I have the baby and lose some weight and have time to plan an actual wedding. We're just not in a hurry. We've both made it known that we commit our lives to each other but don't need a piece of paper to make us one. I only want it to change my last name.

Anyways, any input would be greatly appreciated....
