2 door car and a car seat?

I have a 2 door Ford mustang. And can't really afford to get another car right now. People keep telling me "good luck with getting the car seat in and out!". Is it really gonna be THAT difficult to get a car seat in and out of the back seat? Any tips or suggestions to make it easier?

Yes, it's hard to get the carseat in and out. Especially when he/she gets heavier. But it's not impossible. Make sure you have a base in the back so you don't have to climb back there and buckle the carseat everytime.

Yeah I have a mustang as well and before had my friends baby in there and it was not fun at all getting the baby in or out and the chair nedded to be up all the way as well too fit baby thank God I do have another car  now for baby.

In the case of a 2 door car, I'd look at alternatives to travel systems where the car seat is removable.

The car I drive the most is my Scion tC..and omg, We're getting on buying another SUV ASAP because it's sooo difficult putting a car seat in and out of a 2 door car!!!! With my first daughter(2010) , my ex had an Eclipse and in order to even fit her in the back..between the passenger seat..we had to have my seat like alllllll the way up and it was SO uncomfortable! I'm sure you'll be fine with your mustang, just gotta like a little struggle..

Actually a girl I work with has a mustang and just had her baby in May. She said it's kind of hard to get Paxton out of the car but what she has to do is actually get into the backseat and kind of wiggle him out. Her husband is strong enough to just reach in and grab the carrier but most women couldn't do that.
