I think this is ridiculous!!!

So my husband and I have one daughter and we decided that we don't want anymore children. Well his parents confronted us about this and said "well if y'all don't have a boy then the family name won't go on" and then continued giving us a hard time about it. Personally I find this very rude.. what do you think??
