period like cramps?

I have been getting period like cramps tonight and the odd pain in my pelvis and hips. I'm 27+4 is this something that usually happens or not?

If  they actually feel like period cramps and you get more than four or so (some docs say seven, mine said 4) , go to urgent Care immediately.

Light and intermittent cramping is normal.
If it is painful and not going away it would be worth it to call your doctor to make sure they do not believe you are going into preterm labor.
