What are must haves for you and baby's hospital bag?

I know a lot of people say take long pads but I plan on taking adult diapers instead

Comfy socks and adult underwear! And of course the other things like pjs and baby stuff, but those are my top two lol. Also maybe my own pillow since my hospital recommended doing that, but I honestly don't mind theirs. I like a flat pillow 😂

I'm bringing diaper bag and a change of clothes for us to both leave the hospital. I'm fine with a hospital gown and they always have supplies there for pads etc since it is a hospital. I am not bringing a whole lot. With my son my husband would go get snacks. But they would feed me there. And otherwise all I did was sleep nurse and cuddle with baby.

After my 2nd baby I've learned not to take the whole nursery lol you don't need diapers, or wipes, the hospital gives you basically everything you need for the baby until you get home, except clothes a blanket and a car seat, plus whatever you may need for yourself and you s/o.

The only things I'm glad I had my own and not the hospitals were my own pajamas and an Aden+anais swaddle for baby. Both smelled like home. Everything else was pretty much provide for!

I'm bringing snacks, comfy clothes, some clothing and nursing stuff for the baby, plus clothing for my husband. Oh and sample size toiletries. Hopefully it's not overkill 😂
