Hair dye while pregnant?

I was told you can dye your hair while pregnant as long as you're not bleaching it. I dyed it already but is that bad? Like are you not supposed to do that?

I'm a cosmetologist and have done some studying on the topic. You can lighten and color your hair at all stages of your pregnancy! It is not true that the color or lightener will go into your skin and cause harm to your baby. If that were the case, we'd all be a little crazy. You just need to be in a well ventilated environment. Luckily, state laws require salons to be ventelated for the health of guests and the stylists. Your hormones can effect how the color or lightener reacts and how your skin handles it if touched with it (rash, breakout, etc.). If you go to a salon your stylist will be able to test a strand of your hair and/or skin to make sure you don't have a reaction. Usually everyone handles it just fine :) Go get pampered and enjoy it!

I've dyed my hair about 4x during this pregnancy . All the times it has been in a well ventilated area. I'm 31 weeks now with a healthy baby girl !! & I would definitely not use bleach
