Time duration of your twins anatomy scan??

My maternal fetal specialist is telling me I need to be prepared to be there for 2-3 hrs! 😧 He says 1 hr for each baby and 30-60 mins for appoint with him after that....please tell me it won't really be that long lol

Mine took 45 minutes on each baby.... Then a 30 minute appointment with the doctor afterwards!

For my twins, the anatomy scan took over 90 minutes, then I had an ob appointment - another 30. It was a long day :)

My 21 wk anatomy scan took an hour.. Then we met up with the OB after.

Sounds about right to me, full anatomy scans for me took about 2-2.5 hours, then over to OB office for regular appointment.

Mine didn't take very long at all and plus the tech said that since I am/ was so small and all bump when they did it that it made it faster and easier to see everything they needed to

Mine with the consult afterwards was about 2 1/2 hours but my boys were being very wiggly.

It depends how extensive. My first anatomy scan w my twins took about an hour. Just measured all the body parts. Then i had another one with another mfm but more extensive that one did last about 2 hours they checked all the parts and placenta and cord flow and they checked my cervix through transvaginal ultrasound. We took a small break after the first baby because i was getting nauseated. So maybe youre having an extensive one.
