Teens wanting babies

And of course, comments from older women saying "you're irresponsible!"

It really upsets me because there is NOTHING wrong with anyone wanting a baby. Not even teenagers.

Wanting a baby is not the same as trying to get pregnant. I wanted a baby before my husband and I got married. But we weren't TTC.

My mom wanted a baby when she was fourteen. FOURTEEN. But there was nothing wrong with that. Know why? My oldest sibling wasn't conceived until she was in her twenties (and even that was an accident). Stop telling teenagers they're irresponsible for wanting a baby. Stop telling them they're too young if they just WANT a baby because WANTING is not the same thing as TRYING. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting a baby. Even as a teenager. As long as they are responsible and not trying until they're ready, they should not be vilified for wanting a baby.

Since this has been SO misunderstood and probably not actually read before commented upon, I'm going to say this in caps and hopefully get the attention of the skimmers: IM NOT SAYING CHILDREN SHOULD GET PREGNANT.
