when will it end?!!

I got on the implant a few weeks ago and on the third ish week of having it I started my period. It's been a month now. 
There's barely ever any lining when I examine, maybe a penny's worth every 5 days or so. The flow is not drastic, but I have to wear a tampon 24/7 or I will ruin underwear. Please help. Is this normal?

It works differently for every woman. I only had one period on mine before they stopped, but I have friends who had regular periods, and a friend who had hers for 8 months straight before she got hers removed. 
It honestly just depends on your body and how it reacts. 
My doctor said the first 2 months are the best indication of how the implant works for you though.
