i got a swing at our baby shower but im wondering if i need a bouncer too?

I had a swing and a vibrating seat (not sure if that's what the bouncer is). I used both. The seat I used if I was playing with him or feeding him away from the table and the swing I used when I really needed to keep him occupied while I did something. The swing was my favorite lol

When my sister was born my mom had a swing and one of those vibrating chair/bouncers for her. They definitely came in handy in different situations and the bouncer was easy to take to friends houses and hotels. I have both on my registry. But if you are planning on getting a pack n play there are some that come with the removable bouncer. So that's a way to get two things at once.

I used both. My son didn't always like one or the other and if I was doing something where I really couldn't keep holding him it was great for setting him down. I'd also bring the bouncer with us if we were going to dinner at a friends and they didn't have one.
