Did you guys wait for 2 months to take out the baby out to the store or did you guys take baby out earlier or later?

We've been out and about regularly since she was maybe 2 weeks old? Honestly, as soon as you feel physically ready for it, and if your baby doesn't have any serious immune system issues, go for it. Baby is going to be contained in a car seat or carrier and won't come in contact with anything germy like a shopping cart or whatever. I never personally had any problems with strangers trying to touch her. And I'm frankly pretty chill about that anyway, I don't think letting some old lady in the grocery store touch her foot for a second is going to hurt anything.

It's good for you to get out of the house! Get some fresh air, a change of scenery. As your baby gets older, it's good for them too. My baby loves going out places! We have a lot of fun on our little adventures, even if it's just the grocery store. 😀

We went back to our normal routine after her 2 week check up! Shopping, church, family functions! Set boundaries, dress Baby for weather, pack anything and everything in the diaper bag, and have hand sanitizer handy. Getting out will be good for you!

Our first outing, besides the doctor, was church at 1.5 weeks. My LO is 5 weeks now and we go out regularly; I always wear her in a wrap, though, and I still only let close family hold her to minimise germs.
