Having trouble orgasming when masturbating

I need help!! When ever I masturbate, I can never finish. I get really close, but my clit will get SO sensitive, that I literally can't finish. It doesn't hurt or anything, it just gets super sensitive that I can't touch it anymore. So I'm a virgin first of all, and I've never been able to come by myself either. Any tips??
