Why do people emphasize privacy within a marriage?

I strongly believe that once you become husband and wife you make that committment to be one. Why is there any need of privacy from one another. You devout your life to that person. Personally I love my husband so much and genuinely feel our privacy is shared. We respect each other and trust each other 100 percent. To put it simply Him and I have absolutey no desire keep anything private from one another due to the fact that we do feel one. Just a thought. Yall dont have to agree 👍
