tell me about the 6 week postpartum checkup!

Having mine tomorrow and not sure what to expect! Do the do a check? As in insert a speculum/fingers and feel around to make sure everything's good? Or no exam? I had a 3rd degree tear and think that I've healed well since I don't really have pain or anything but I'm very nervous for anything to be stuck up there! Lol anyone else have a tear? How did your exam feel? Just wanting to prepare myself!!
