5 weeks 6 days

I'm 5 weeks 6 days with my first child. I had a "confirm pregnancy" appointment on Tuesday which consisted of a urine test and speaking with a nurse. My next appointment is an ultrasound scheduled for November 22nd (8 weeks, 5 days). Is that late for a first ultrasound? I keep seeing all kinds of earlier ones on this page, and I feel like mine is forever away! Then 2 weeks after that is bloodwork, exam, etc.
