OPK TESTS!!!!

So, I wanted to share some interesting first hand learning when it comes to opk tests. Back in January, when I first started using opk's and medication to TTC, I found opk tests at CVS in bulk. SCORE (or so I thought )! I constantly got positive opk's on these tests and blood test confirmed that I did not ovulate. Bummer. Flash forward to now. I bought a bulk kit of opk's at Walmart and tested my urine today, mind you, I'm on my period so I know in fact I would not be ovulating. The test came back negative which is great. With the opk's from CVS I was literally getting positive opk's while on my period or the day after...and not faint ones, big solid dark lines. I'm on the last day of my period so I wanted to test my theory that the CVS brand opk's are faulty, especially if you have PCOS and are taking clomid. I would highly recommend the tests at Walmart.... it was 20 bucks for 20 strips and one pregnancy test! Great deal and after testing my theory they seem like the real deal!
