Any opinions

Im already a month late and as much as the witch didnt show up, I have no pregnancy symptoms either. Been TTC for almost 2yrs now. I stopped tracking or charting since I get all obsessive and heartbroken for each time/month that I thought Im already pregnant. Yesterday, I took a hpt (Equate blue dye) and it came out negative so I just left it on top of the bathroom sink while brushing my teeth. After another 3mins, the line from control line disappeared and then a line for the test line showed up. Was that an evap? Or the test was just really defective? I've decided not to test again till this month, my period would not show up again.
