Tips on how to deal with the size of a 🍆

So my SO and I were trying out missionary as our first time but he is way too big and it hurt a lot. However, when I was riding him, it wasn't painful. Can I get some tips on how to deal with a overly large penis? I want to be able to enjoy it but this is my first time dealing with a big one. Help?!😫
