santa posts..

So I was just reading through a post about women telling their children santa doesn't exist from a young age. Now IN MY OPINION WHICH IM ALOUD TO HAVE I think it's wrong. Christmas is a magical thing to children it really is the most wonderful time of the year. It's not all about the presents. It's about the lights, Christmas songs, the food, family, putting up the tree, and waking up in the morning seeing all the gifts and a note with bites in the mince pies and carrots. A year is a lifetime to wait for as a child so why would you spoil it? All the reindeers, elf's the North Pole, why would you snatch it away. I understand parents can do what they want these days but what the fuck happened to raising your kids the 'normal way'. Why do people have to stand out with things like this. Your kids are fortunate enough to have a good Christmas you can give them a story for it. People don't like originality anymore and that's the disappointing thing.   "I don't want to lie to my child" oh is that right?? But your willing to spoil a fairytale for your child because you want all the credit? I think it's selfish. If you don't want to lie to your child I hope you tell them the truth about everything else such as the Easter bunny, tooth fairy, Disney films and so on...
