How did you deliver di/di twins?

Girl is head down but boy is transverse (horizontal) with his head on her butt. Everyone has said that he will likely fall head down once she is out. But the doc is still pushing for a c-section. Not my first choice at all. I have three other kids, i cant be down for that long. Hubby wont be able to be home with me very long either because he works for the government (stupid elections).
