Hair color? Is it a bad thing?

So I have heard mixes answers from family members about coloring my hair while I'm pregnant. Is it safe? I'll be asking my doctor on my next visit, but I'm just curious what everyone else did.

I colored my hair my whole pregnancy. As long as where you're getting it done is well ventilated you should be fine.

It's recommended that you wait until after the first trimester due to the fumes you inhale and it being the most delicate time of your baby's entire development. After that just make sure you're in a decently ventilated area but you do want to avoid, say, sitting under a hood to her highlights. Inhaling tons of peroxide or bleach isn't good at any point

You can dye your hair at any time during pregnancy. I got highlights back in July, my hair lady knew I was pregnant and wasn't concerned or anything. Just got me a water for while I was under the dryer.

Do a testm your hormones change which means even if you didn't react before, you can now. It's perfectly safe but if your worried just have colour that doesn't touch your scalp. Highlights/lowlights

I dyed my hair at 34 weeks, (if you're doing it at home) just make sure it's ventilated. You'll be fine.

I got highlights throughout my pregnancy. My dr okayed it as there's no way for it to get to the baby

I had mine colored after I got a vvvvvvvvvvvvvfl (already had the appointment, thought I had line eyes). Turned out to be a positive. Asked OB she said no worries. I didn't get my roots done though because most would say do highlights and avoid the scalp. I will definitely get them done before baby though.
