So i'm a senior in high school, and my boyfriend is a freshman in college. We met my junior year and have been dating for over a year. We've talked about our future and where we want to live and whatnot, and we were so excited and so in love. But ever since he has left, he has gotten to be very rude as weeks go on. He attends Texas A&M, is involved in the engineering program, and the corps of cadets alongside the band. I understand that he's very busy. I only exchange about 10-20 texts with him a day, and I'll get a two minute phone call at least once a week if I'm lucky. In the corps, he's been told by his upperclassmen that he's not allowed to have any emotions. He's not allowed to think or feel. He straight up told me that those "rules" are affecting his feelings for me. He told me he didn't love me as much as he did before he left, and that he doesn't have time to worry about our relationship. But then he keeps telling me that we're fine. I feel like things are really rocky. I have talked to him about it multiple times and it's gotten to the point where i thought that he was going to break up with me twice. I don't want to lose him because we are going to be going to the same college next year and I'll see him way much more than I do now, but I don't know if he's going to wait that long for me to catch up with him. Ive been giving him space recently and just haven't had much contact with him. Some days we don't text at all. Im in dire need of advice from y'all. please help!!
