I know every hospital is different but I have some questions. First, how long do you stay in a hospital if you have a natural birth and all goes well?

Not including labor/delivery day, I was discharged after 1.5 days in recovery. I wanted to leave sooner tbh, I was super uncomfortable in the hospital. But it was nice having the nurses help with the baby (FTM here). I had no clue what I was doing when I got home lol

Mine keeps you 24 to 48 hours. They only want new parents or teen parents to stay 48 hours so the nurses can assist you.

At my hospital you will stay 2 nights if you have a natural birth and everything goes without complications. With a c section it's 5 nights

Mine keeps you for between 24 and 48 hours if all goes well, and depending on if you had an epidural and if you're a first time mom. C-section is 48-72 hpurs

I had no complications and the minimum at that hospital was three days (c section was five days). That seems to be the norm around here (Connecticut).
