am I ovulating?

Am I ovulating or does the line have to match the control line? I've been taking them for about a week now and always get a light line so I figured I wasn't ovulating until the line matched the darkness of the control. Just saw a post of someone who posted an ovulation test just as light as mine and was told she was ovulating. Confused
