How many weeks were you when you got your membrane sweep?

And did it hurt? Did you go into labor?

Had mine yesterday at 38+5. It wasn't painful but was uncomfortable. For me it felt like the uncomfortable sensation you get when you have a uti but it was over quick. Lost my mucus plug today and have been having irregular contractions.

I had my membrane sweep at 38+1 (yesterday) it caused me to lose my mucous plug today but hasn't started labour unfortunately. I go back at 38+6 to have it done again. It was painful but was over within a couple of seconds.

My first one I was 39 weeks but dilated at a 3 and yes it hurt like crazy. Unfortunately it didn't put me into labor but it did cause me to lose my mucus plug. My second one I just had at 40 weeks, I was dilated at a 4 and didn't hurt as bad as the first one. Still not in labor 😭

Never had it done. There is no reason for it really.  It isn't part of normal labor process.
