I've been experiencing contractions since 2 am every two minutes and I'm still only 2 cm dilated. Went to L&D and I was discharged since I haven't dilated any more. The pain is absolutely unbearable. I was told by my doctor and RN to walk and drink plenty of fluids so that my water would break; however, nothing is helping. It made me feel so mad when the RN said I needed to suck it up and work on improving my low pain tolerance level-- I mean, I can't even breathe from the pain and I'm exhausted. I can't sleep because of the contractions and I'm really getting impatient, but this baby does not want to come out. I am 41 weeks pregnant and am scheduled to be induced on Sunday. Is it really that much of a wait? Why can't they just induce me now so that my body can dilate quicker and so that I can be out of this pain 😭😭 I just want sleep.
