when can I enjoy showers again?!

Not only am I worrying about my LO the entire time I'm showering..poking my head out the curtain a million times if my hubby isn't home yet...but let's talk about the breastfeeding mama struggle! OMG! It's been 8 weeks and showering still feels like needles hitting my nipples! Anyone else on the same boat? I have to hold my hands over my boobs when facing the water. Terrible! Oh the struggles😅

My nipples are the same in the shower, I can't let the water hit them. I still won't even let my fiancé touch them.

My nipples don't hurt anymore, but when they did I would take a handful of water in each hand and cup it over my nipples before I actually got under the shower stream. Surprisingly, it made it to where my nipples didn't bother me under the shower.

I take my video monitor into the bathroom with me and set it where I can see it when or if I poke my head out and as for the nipple pain find an old towel and cut it into strips and place it over our boobs while you shower
