after getting your new due date by ultrasound, do you change your weeks?

I'm a bit confused.. according to LMP measurement, I'm 19w1d with "graduation" on Thursdays. My ultrasound said baby measures 19w3d, so should I start considering that I'm that far along with my "graduation" to the new week on Tuesdays? My due date has of course been set based on the ultrasound measurement.

My babygirl was measuring almost 2 weeks ahead and now here I am... 40 weeks today and still pregnant 😧😧😧 I'd stick with your original date.

You don't change your due date this late in the pregnancy especially when the difference is only a couple of days.   Your baby may have just had a bit of a growth spurt and may measure bang on next time.

With my first they set my due date for July 28th. He measured at least a week if not 2 the whole pregnancy but they never changed the date.  We had an ultrasound at 35 weeks because he was measuring ahead.  They made me take the 3 hour glucouse test even though i passed the initial 1 hour test.  I passed the 3 hour as well.  Well he came at what should have been 37 weeks 8 lbs 12 oz.  His pediatritian still says to this day they must have had his due date wrong based off his growth and development.  She thinks hes was closer to 40/41 weeks.  He never had any signs or issues of being early....the boy has always been in the 99th percential for height weight and head circumference.  Hes perefectly proportionate tho and the doctor never had any worries.

My ultrasound date was wrong. It put me 3 days ahead of my beginning due date. She was originally due September 21st and my ultrasound moved me to the 18th. I had her at 8:08pm on September 21st! I would stick with the date based off your cycle not growth. She also measured a week ahead around 33 weeks and her estimated weight at delivery was to be no more than 7lbs and I had an 8lb 1oz baby. Ultrasounds are accurate but not 100%! Goodluck❤

No. The most accurate due date is yoir ultrasound around 8-12 weeks. After that babies grow at different rates. Measuring "ahead" or "behind" just means that baby is below or above the 50% for growth. Doesn't mean that they're coming any sooner or later. Ultrasounds are also notoriously inaccurate and can be off by several pounds in either direction, so they're just used as an estimate. My first baby was supposed to be about 5 lbs at birth according to her last U/S she was 6lb 11oz. My second was supposed to be around 8lbs and she was 8lb 11oz.

I switched mine only because I know I didn't ovulate when they typically think most woman do and so I knew I couldn't have been as far along as they originally said based off LMP I had my first ultrasound and they said I was 7w3d when they originally thought I was 8w1d based off lmp. I then had an ultrasound at 8w1d (according to what they measures preciously) and my obgyn actually agreed that I was then 8w1d so I changed mine as two doctors thought the same thing based on measurements and me knowing I ovulated later than most.
